A lifelong motoring enthusiast, general petrolhead and an avid Porsche fan and owner - I'm also a keen photographer.

As the transition to Electric Vehicles gathers pace, the thrill of owning, driving or even just hearing an interesting car on the road is decreasing by the day.

As vehicle technology advances and concern over the effect of vehicle emissions on the global climate increase, vehicle manufacturers are moving towards alternative fuels and more efficient vehicle design. This is removing variety and choice and many of the reasons why people love cars are swiftly disappearing. Our freedom of choice is being eroded.

I want to remember what has come before - the heritage of great cars, designers and manufacturers and how they shaped the world of motoring. My images reflect some of the variety that our motoring legacy has given us over time and showcases many of the cars that interest me the most (and yes, there are quite a few Porsches).
